Become an apprentice

Overview
Apprenticeships combine practical training in a job with study.

As an apprentice you will:
1. Work alongside experienced staff
2. Gain job-specific skills
3. Earn a wage and get holiday pay
4. Study towards a related qualification (usually one day a week)
5. Apprenticeships take 1 to 4 years to complete depending on their level.

Levels of apprenticeship
Apprenticeships have equivalent educational levels.
1. Advanced Level - A level 2 Principal passes.
2. Certificate Level - Upper Second GPA and above.
3. Degree - Bachelors or Masters Degree (Upper Second GPA and above)

Who can apply
You can apply for an apprenticeship while you are still at school. To start one, you will need to be:
1. 16 or over
2. Living in Tanzania
3. Not in full-time education
